It is told that meters after meter of fabrics can be folded in a match box. It was one of the finest art of our country. Today's moslin sharees also very popular among the homies and abroad people.
During the Mughal period moslin the very fine fabric produced in our country. It was also populared all over the world specially in Europe for its unique features.
This Muslin was worn by the royal women of that time. This fabric was so fine that 6 yards of a Muslin saree could pass through a ring. Unfortunately this art was destroyed by the British during the British rule. The British rulers killed the weavers so that the secret would be found again.
